Head Coach

Art Schad, a Red Hook NY native was a NY State High School Wrestling place-winner and National Freestyle place winner. Art went on to wrestle collegiately at Southern Connecticut State University. Art has and extensive background in Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling. Art is the former head coach of the Norwalk Mad Bull Youth Wrestling Program and Norwalk High School Wrestling.
Joe started his wrestling career in 2003 on the Darien High School varsity team. He wrestled 4 years on Varsity and 2 years as captain of the team. 3 time FCIAC, Class M, and State Open place winner. Joe went on to wrestle for Sacred Heart University in college. Joe has been coaching for the DHS varsity team and running the Darien Youth Wrestling organization for the last 13 years.
